01 What I take off your plate

Specific problems, handed back solved.

Not general capacity. Five kinds of job agencies bring me — each with a clear thing in and a clear thing out.

The problemYou bringI hand back
01A pitch where social is the weakest slide. You bringThe brief and the deck so far.I hand backSocial-native territories, and the concepts that make them feel real in the room.
02A brief that's fine on paper and flat on the feed. You bringThe client's brief.I hand backThe angle, the formats and the hooks that give someone a reason to watch.
03Paid social that needs creator briefs, quickly. You bringThe product, the audience, the ad account's history.I hand backAn angle and hook matrix and scripted creator / UGC briefs your producers can cast against.
04An account that's lost its thread. You bringAccess and twenty minutes with the account lead.I hand backA diagnosis, a content position and repeatable formats the account team can run.
05Concepting overflow before a deadline. You bringThe brief and your template.I hand backConcepts, scripts and hooks to your deadline, in your format.

  1. Day 0

    Brief in

You send the brief; we take 20 minutes to find what the client really needs.

  2. Day 1

    Territories

Three or four directions. A quick check-in kills the weak ones early.

  3. Day 2

    Formats & concepts

The surviving direction built out into formats, concepts and hooks.

  4. Day 3

    Handover

The rationale deck and a short call, so your team can present it as their own.

03 The standard

From a brief to a reason to watch.

This is the thinking a Brief Boost does, compressed to five steps. The finished version comes with formats, six concepts and the rationale your team presents.

  1. The brief, as received

“Launch the new flavour. Build awareness with 18–30s. Social-first.”

  2. The real problem

Awareness of what? A new flavour isn't a reason to watch anything.

  3. Territory

The office fridge — the small politics of shared fridges, desk lunches and the 3pm slump. The drink is evidence, not the subject.

  4. Format

“Fridge Court” — a recurring series where colleagues judge what's been left in the fridge, and who's been drinking whose can.

  5. Hook

“Someone's been drinking my cans, and today we find out who.”

05 Why me

I've been on both sides of the brief.

I've been the talent briefed by brands, and the in-house lead writing the briefs and judging what came back. That's the gap a Brief Boost closes.

Briefed by brands

Paid partnerships and creator work for Red Bull, Outcider, Gransha Dental, Discover Northern Ireland and others — I know which briefs come back as content people watch, because I've been handed both kinds.

≈400Kviews across three Outcider partnership videos

400K+views for Gransha Dental across Instagram & TikTok

Writing the briefs

Head of Social Media at Plutus — directing ad creative and creator content alongside a media buyer — and creative lead at OutsideIn, shaping an early-stage brand's visual world.

06 When it's bigger

More than one brief?

  • Project support

    Quoted

A campaign platform, a multi-brief account reset or a pitch that needs more than three days. Scoped and priced as a project.

  • Extra days

    From £350 / day

Capacity on an account or a busy fortnight, booked in blocks of two days or more.

07 Questions

What agencies ask first.

How quickly can you start?

Send the brief and the deadline and I'll confirm availability the same or next working day. A Brief Boost runs three working days from the brief call.

Will you talk to our client?

Only if you want me to. By default I work behind your team, and your name is on the work.

What if it needs more than a Brief Boost?

Then it's project support, scoped and quoted before anything starts. No surprise charges.

What do you need from us?

The brief, anything the client has already rejected, the deadline, and 20 minutes with whoever owns the account.

How does payment work?

Brief Boost is invoiced on booking. Projects and days are invoiced as agreed in the scope.

Can you make the content as well?

Sometimes — production is quoted separately. Most agency work is the thinking your team then makes.

→ Next step

Send the brief.

A few lines is enough. I'll reply with availability and whether a Brief Boost fits — or what would.

  1. 01Availability confirmed within a working day.
  2. 02A 20-minute brief call.
  3. 03Three working days later, the work.
